Cre8Camp is an unconference for creative industries professionals. It is an ad-hoc gathering for participants to learn, network and share in an open environment with discussions, demos and interaction all led by the attendees. Cre8Camp is a non-profit event affiliated with Cre8Con.

Proposed Session Topics

  • Five minute Film: Create a short film in your session and share it with the group at the end of the day.
  • Starter logs: Industry tales and interview tips for beginners.
  • Sleeping is for the weak: share tips on balancing family, work and play.
  • Twitter and beyond: using social networks to build a creative network and share concepts
  • This one time at band camp: your favorite client horror stories (we'll try not to mention any names)
  • Creative Rituals: what gets you into your creative space... how do you get connected to your creative source...?
  • I work for myself/own a boutique agency. Why did you do it? Discuss. Share stories of trials and tribulations.
  • Health Insurance for Freelancers/Consultants. Resources. How to apply. How to stay safe.
  • Small town creativity - What we can do to build a network in Corvallis and keep it ticking.
  • Help for non-profit: How designers can create a system to provide services and give back to their community.
  • Just brand it - create or re-design a brand that could use improvement and share it with the group at the end of the day.
  • Industrial/product design and how it relates to product design
